WHO IS A STUDENT LIVING IN TRANSITION?

Individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence are considered to be living in transition.  The program includes school-age children who have a nighttime residence that is: shared with another family, a shelter, motel or hotel, transitional housing, trailer park, campground, makeshift arrangements in someone's home or a place not designed for human accommodations.

SAN JUAN CLOTHING CLOSET

The Underground Clothing Connection!

A free clothing store located in Sunrise Mall, exclusively for students and their families of San Juan Unified School District (by school referral only). We are looking for clothing donations and volunteers to help in this effort! 

  • Donations: Clean, gently used clothing for children and students ages K-12 (especially K-6) grades during store hours. Tops, Bottoms, Sweatshirts, Coats, PE Clothes, PJ’s, Accessories, Career, Formal. New only: Socks, Underwear in original packaging. Gift Cards.
  • Volunteers: Volunteers to act as store staff. Either one shift per week or per month.
  • Hours: Contact the HART team at CitrusHeightsHart@gmail.com to ask when the store is open.
  • Location: 5932 Sunrise Mall, Citrus Heights, CA 95610 (Next to the theater inside Sunrise Mall)
